Job summary

Amadeus Search is seeking an All-Star Litigation Attorney with 7–10 years of civil litigation experience to lead a dynamic plaintiff-side practice focused on personal injury and tenant rights. The role demands strategic case development from filing through trial, with leadership duties and hands-on courtroom participation.

The ideal candidate will have California Bar admission, substantial discovery experience, and a track record of managing complex matters with trial readiness.

Qualifications

• Active member of the California State Bar.
• 5–7+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in plaintiff-side personal injury and tenant rights is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day litigation activities and oversee junior staff.
• Develop and execute discovery strategies, including propounding/responding to discovery, drafting meet-and-confer letters, and preparing motions to compel.
• Draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and motions, including MSJs.
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Perform legal research and factual investigations.
• Attend court hearings and argue motions.
• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, and trial.
• First- or second-chair trial experience and prior insurance defense experience are strong pluses.

We’re looking for an attorney with deep civil procedure expertise who thrives on building cases creatively—from filing to trial preparation—and who can operate as both a leader and a hands-on litigator.
