LHH is partnering with a reputable regional law firm in Las Vegas, NV to recruit a Litigation Attorney with strong trial experience. The role focuses on complex matters in business, employment, general liability, and professional liability.

The attorney will manage cases independently, draft motions, conduct depositions, and prepare for trials with witness prep and strategy. Excellent legal writing, analytical skills, and courtroom presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Active member of the State Bar of Nevada in good standing.
• 3+ years in complex litigation across business, employment, general liability and/or professional liability.
• Ability to work independently from inception to resolution.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload involving complex litigation matters.
• Analyze intricate legal issues and develop strategic case plans.
• Structure and execute discovery plans, including taking and defending depositions.
• Manage document-intensive cases and oversee document review processes.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and trial strategy.
• Collaborate with legal teams and clients to ensure effective advocacy.

The firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will manage cases independently, draft motions such as motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, take and defend depositions, and prepare for trials including witness prep, exhibit organization, and trial strategy. Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and courtroom experience are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload involving complex litigation matters


• Analyze intricate legal issues and develop strategic case plans


• Structure and execute discovery plans, including taking and defending depositions


• Manage document-intensive cases and oversee document review processes
