Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Las Vegas or Reno. The role focuses on handling business litigation matters, including contract disputes and partner/shareholder issues, with significant opportunity to go to trial.

You will advise on transactional matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and develop litigation strategies from filing through resolution. The ideal candidate has a JD, Nevada license, and at least five years of civil litigation experience;

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Nevada license to practice law.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Proven track record in managing and resolving complex litigation matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiating business contracts and agreements.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in business litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, partnership conflicts, employment disputes, and real estate disputes.
• Provide comprehensive legal services in transactional matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other documents.
• Develop and execute strategies in litigation from filing through resolution, including trial experience as needed.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Advise clients on business formation and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and tailor legal solutions.
• Manage multiple cases and transactions with deadlines and attention to detail.

Job Details

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in business litigation matters, including contract disputes, business tort claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, employment and labor disputes, commercial real estate disputes, and other related areas.
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and services in transactional matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
• Develop and execute effective legal strategies in litigation cases from initial filing through resolution, including trial experience as necessary.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Advise clients on business formation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor legal solutions accordingly.
• Manage multiple cases and transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex litigation matters.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating business contracts and agreements.
