Job description

Small law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney. Litigation/Trial/Hearing experience required; corporate and/or matrimonial litigation experience preferred. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York. Must be able to work proactively and autonomously to ensure all deadlines are met and case preparation proceeds effectively, as well as collaboratively with colleagues.

This role offers an exceptional work-life balance, with unlimited time off, low billable hour requirements, the ability to set your own schedule, and the ability to work remote/hybrid if desired (with the exception of weekly firm meetings and court appearances, depositions, etc. which will be predominantly in person - the firm's office is in Jericho, NY and the current caseload is primarily in NYC and Long Island).

The ideal candidate prefers to be in a courtroom and excels at oral advocacy. Strong writing and research, transactional, or administrative skills are not required; however, the attorney must be organized and able to operate independently and must possess excellent critical thinking skills and be able to troubleshoot.

Pay based on experience with bonuses available.
