Job summary

Kanner & Pintaluga in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Litigation Attorney for a full-time position. You will meet with clients, discuss cases, and work with insurance companies on status, demands, and offers. The attorney should be able to prepare a case for trial and try it if needed.

Required is 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience, active Indiana Bar membership, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will see that our clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, the Attorney should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

• Full-time
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 3 to 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience
• Member of the Indiana Bar and in good standing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Experience in knowing how to evaluate claims, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently in an office environment
• Team-oriented
