Job summary

Stealth in Houston is seeking Insurance Defense Attorneys for a hybrid role. You will handle insurance defense and civil litigation from inception to resolution, manage discovery, depositions, and motions, and work on coverage, bad faith, and professional liability matters.

The position requires 3+ years of litigation experience and Texas Bar admission; candidates must be able to work independently in a hybrid setting and collaborate with insurers and clients on high-value matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in insurance defense, coverage, or complex civil litigation preferred.
• Strong discovery, deposition, motion practice, and case-management experience.
• Texas Bar admission and in good standing.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

The firm has 20+ years of insurance experience handling complex coverage, bad-faith, and liability matters, along with strong practices in construction, professional liability, transportation, products liability, and commercial litigation.

The Opportunity

The firm is expanding its team and is hiring Insurance Defense Attorneys in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. This is a hybrid opportunity offering hands-on litigation experience and exposure to complex, high-value matters.

What You'll Do

• Handle insurance defense and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Manage discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and trial preparation
• Work on coverage, bad faith, professional liability, construction, and transportation matters

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of litigation experience

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
