NACBA is seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in Personal Injury in Houston, Texas. The attorney will manage plaintiff cases from filing through settlement or trial, handling a docket independently and with a client-centered approach.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of four years of civil litigation experience, strong knowledge of Texas procedures, and excellent writing and advocacy skills. This role offers opportunities for growth and professional development within a trial-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Active Texas law license in good standing.
• Minimum four (4) years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Texas civil procedure and evidence.
• Experience with hearings, depositions, discovery, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Excellent legal writing, advocacy, organization, and client communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial litigation docket.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are a growing, trial-focused Texas personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage plaintiff personal injury cases from suit through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, strategic, client-centered, and comfortable handling a litigation docket independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from filing through resolution or trial.
• Evaluate liability, causation, damages, and case value.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with plaintiff personal injury, trucking, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, jury trial, mediation, medical record review, case management software, or Spanish-language experience.
