Job Description

• Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including business, construction, real estate, banking, and commercial disputes.
• Work closely with experienced partners on case strategy, client counseling, and management of active litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Manage written discovery, document review, deposition preparation, and other key phases of litigation.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide responsive, practical guidance throughout their matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to develop effective litigation strategies and deliver strong client results.
• Build professional relationships through networking, community involvement, and business development activities.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Wisconsin State Bar.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience working and developing under seasoned litigators.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with discovery, pleadings, motion practice, depositions, and litigation case management.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
