Job summary

Lawrence Law Office in Ohio seeks a Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic team that handles challenging family law matters with the vigor of a large litigation firm. You will advocate in court, develop trial strategies, and collaborate with seasoned litigators in a supportive environment that values mentorship, growth, and excellence.

You will represent clients from filing through resolution, draft pleadings and motions, and leverage our firm’s technology and processes to manage cases

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• Minimum of three (3) years of litigation experience; family law experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in contested family law matters from commencement through resolution.
• Regularly appear in court for hearings, conferences, trials and other legal proceedings.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other documents with attention to detail.
• Articulate legal concepts clearly to clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Prepare cases for hearings and trial through thorough research and planning.
• Maintain strong client relationships with professionalism and clear communication.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff while using firm systems to manage cases.
• Take ownership of assigned matters and continue developing trial advocacy skills.

Requirements
