Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Litigation Attorney in Columbia, SC, with 3+ years of personal injury and general liability experience to join onsite.

You will manage a heavy caseload from pre-litigation through trial, draft pleadings, coordinate with experts, and appear at depositions and court hearings.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active state bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage high-volume pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day pre-litigation and litigation cases.
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and memoranda of law.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses; draft reports and affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This Attorney will have experience with personal injury and general liability cases, and will handle a heavy and complex case load from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial.

Who You Are:

• Juris Doctor Degree from an American Bar Association-Accredited Law School
• Active Member in Good Standing with State Bar Association
• 3+ years of personal injury experience
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

What Will You Be Doing?

• Day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda of law
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
