Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team in Buffalo, NY.

You will manage complex civil litigation from inception through trial and appeal, handling commercial disputes, contract enforcement, and business torts in state and federal court. Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of civil litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and familiarity with e-discovery.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4–7 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling matters in federal court is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial litigation and business disputes.
• Experience with or exposure to antitrust law is desirable.
• Working knowledge of e-discovery and related platforms.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation docket and advise leadership.

Responsibilities

Buffalo Biodiesel is in growth mode and currently seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our fast-growing team! Buffalo Biodiesel is a rapidly expanding renewable energy company dedicated to promoting a cleaner, greener future. Through the collection and recycling of used cooking oil, we help businesses reduce waste while producing sustainable, environmentally responsible fuel solutions. As our operations continue to grow across multiple states, we are expanding our legal department to support our dynamic legal department.

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with 4–6 years of civil litigation experience who is eager to take ownership of sophisticated, high-impact matters in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our litigation portfolio includes commercial disputes, contract enforcement, business torts, unfair competition, and other complex civil matters. Buffalo Biodiesel is involved in both state and federal litigation.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4–7 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling matters in federal court strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial litigation and business disputes.
• Experience with or exposure to antitrust law is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of electronic discovery (e-discovery), including document review platforms, preservation obligations, and discovery strategy.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation docket while collaborating effectively with attorneys, executives, and business personnel.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

This role requires onsite work from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.
