Responsibilities include discovery, depositions, legal research, and trial preparation, with opportunities across technology, IP, governance, insurance, and real estate matters. 2–7 years of experience and Georgia Bar admission are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in general corporate, commercial, or business litigation.
• Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
• Experience taking and defending party and expert depositions.
• Experience handling written discovery and subpoenas.
• Experience managing e-Discovery in federal and state courts.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in collaborative case teams while independently owning assigned matters.
• Senior-level candidates should have hands-on trial preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support sophisticated corporate and business litigation matters from initial strategy through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, discovery responses, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Propound and respond to written discovery, third-party subpoenas, and notices to produce.
• Oversee document production and manage e-Discovery matters in state and federal courts.
• Take and defend party and expert depositions.
• Prepare cases for trial, including developing strategy, organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and supporting courtroom proceedings.
• Work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys to understand client objectives, provide strategic counsel, and execute effective litigation plans.
• Handle matters involving areas such as technology, intellectual property, data security, insurance coverage, corporate governance, commercial contracts, employment, product liability, and real estate.

Position Title: Litigation Attorney

Join a well-established Atlanta law firm where sophisticated litigation work comes with something increasingly rare in private practice: a 1,500-hour annual billable requirement and genuine flexibility. This Litigation Attorney will handle complex corporate and business disputes, working alongside experienced partners on matters involving technology, intellectual property, corporate governance, insurance coverage, employment, real estate, and other commercial issues. Responsibilities will span discovery, depositions, legal research and writing, document production, trial preparation, and ongoing client counseling.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, personable, and sharp business litigator who understands what clients need, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of executing the right legal strategy. Candidates at both the 2-4 year and 5-7 year experience levels will be considered, with responsibilities tailored to experience.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $250,000 / annually, DOE

Requirements

• Professional, personable demeanor with a willingness to contribute wherever the team needs support
• Experience arguing motions, second-chairing trials, first-chairing trials, or working within a large law firm environment is a plus
