Simpson Judge USA in Atlanta, GA is expanding and seeks a seasoned Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its boutique litigation team, granting ownership of a personal caseload and meaningful courtroom exposure.

You will handle complex state and federal commercial disputes, develop case strategy, and work directly with clients to achieve objectives, with ample opportunity to build your own book of business.

Competenze

• J.D. degree required and Georgia bar admission in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial/business litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle all aspects of state and federal litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions and depositions.
• Develop case strategy and work directly with clients to understand and achieve their objectives.
• Prepare cases for trial and, where appropriate, take matters through trial and post-trial proceedings.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice in Georgia, and in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience practicing commercial/business litigation.
• Strong experience handling litigation in both state and federal courts
• Experience managing litigation matters with significant autonomy from inception through resolution.
• Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy and case-management skills.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in developing a personal book of business.
