Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Attorney for its litigation team in San Diego, CA. The role involves handling substantive work from day one with direct collaboration with firm partners, and flexible work arrangements including remote, hybrid, or in-office options.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience, a JD, and active CA State Bar membership. You will draft motions, manage discovery, and represent clients in trials and arbitrations.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Ability to draft and argue motions effectively.
• Familiarity with the California court system.
• Proficiency in depositions and witness examinations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active member of the California State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Maintain communication with clients and insurers throughout the litigation process.
• Provide strategic legal counsel based on litigation experience.
• Manage day-to-day litigation tasks and meet billable targets.
