Job summary

Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join our Southern California team. You will handle cases from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, taking depositions, discovery, and courtroom motions within a collaborative, mentoring environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience; experience in general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes.
• Current admission to the California State Bar.
• Experience handling pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, client and opposing counsel communications, and court appearances.
• Supervising law clerks/junior associates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, and argue motions in court.
• Attend mediations and trials; collaborate with team and mentors.
