Job summary

HireHawk is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to support product liability and general/business litigation from our Philadelphia office. The attorney will manage matters at various stages, contribute to strategy, and handle depositions, discovery and motions with direct client contact.

The role targets lawyers with at least four years in civil litigation who aim to take ownership from inception to resolution and expand courtroom experience under seasoned practitioners.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania law license in good standing with CLE requirements.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience as a licensed attorney.
• Experience handling high-volume litigation, preferably product liability.
• Experience across multiple phases of civil litigation including discovery and motions.
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple product liability and general/business litigation matters.
• Drive cases from inception through resolution, including discovery and trial prep.
• Take and defend depositions in high-volume matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, and case summaries.
• Develop litigation strategies in partnership with senior attorneys.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses.
• Analyze case facts, evidence, and legal issues with accuracy.
• Coordinate with support staff and junior attorneys to maintain client service.
• Meet professional, ethical, client-service, and billable-hour expectations.
