Job summary

Maron Marvel seeks an associate attorney to join its Indianapolis office, handling a broad spectrum of civil cases for national and regional clients in Indiana state and federal courts. The role focuses on mass tort, product liability, commercial, and general liability litigation.

The successful candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be admitted to the Indiana Bar, and possess 2–5 years of litigation experience with strong research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school preferred.
• Active license to practice law in Indiana required.
• 2–5 years of litigation experience in general liability and related matters preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills expected.
• Ability to manage a caseload from inception to summary judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through summary judgment in Indiana state and federal courts.
• Handle intake and evaluation of new general liability and product liability matters.
• Draft filings, pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Coordinate discovery, depositions, and case strategy with portfolio counsel.
• Provide regular case updates to clients and collaborate with staff.
