Job summary

Pacifica Law Group, LLP seeks a litigation associate committed to excellent and ethical lawyering to join a sophisticated practice and contribute to our growing team. The role involves civil litigation work across trial courts, administrative proceedings, and appellate courts, with opportunities for direct client interaction and courtroom experience.

The successful candidate will have strong academic credentials, exceptional writing and research skills, and familiarity with legal databases.

Qualifications

Strong academic credentials.
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
Familiarity with legal software search databases and computer proficiency.
Membership in the Washington State Bar Association.
Two or more years of civil litigation experience preferred, including clerkship.
Experience in municipal law, constitutional law, commercial disputes, real estate litigation, and/or land use issues.

Responsibilities

Participate in all aspects of civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals.
Research complex legal issues and provide strategic counsel to clients.
Work with public entities on infrastructure projects and municipal law issues.
Gain stand-up courtroom experience and direct client interaction as responsibilities grow.
