Job summary

Jobot is hiring an Associate Attorney in California to join a national litigation team. The role focuses on defending prominent individuals and small businesses in high-risk disputes nationwide, with exposure to all stages of trial preparation and trial work.

Qualifications

• California licensed attorney with 2–6 years of litigation experience.
• Ability to learn all stages of trial preparation and trial from start to finish.
• Experience working with top litigators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigated claims
• Prepare for trial including strategy discussions, discovery, records review, client interviews and witness preparation
• Research into complex litigation areas
• Take and defend depositions
• Prepare and argue motions
• Attend hearings
• Communicate with clients
