Job summary

Professional Recruiters in Las Vegas is seeking a Litigation Associate to manage a 10–20 matter caseload from intake through trial, with hands‑on deposition and trial experience in general liability, product liability, premises liability, and catastrophic injury.

The role requires 2–8 years of experience, Nevada bar admission, and strong writing and research skills. Expect a hybrid schedule with substantial courtroom exposure and client interaction in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of substantive litigation experience, ideally in general liability, product liability, premises liability, or catastrophic injury defense.
• Nevada bar admission required.
• Hands-on experience with depositions, discovery, motion practice, and pre-trial prep.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 10–20 active matters from investigation through resolution.
• Investigate claims and build case handling strategy.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, and review/analyze documents for production.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and file pleadings and motions and argue them.
• Attend hearings.
• Prepare pre-trial and trial documents.
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial, and participate directly in both.
• Report to clients regularly and keep them informed.
