Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania with successful passage of the Pennsylvania Bar Examination.
• 2–5 years of litigation experience, with general liability preferred; product liability experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to independently manage a caseload from inception through the summary judgment phase.
• Strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through the summary judgment phase in Pennsylvania state and federal courts.
• Handle intake and evaluation of general liability and product liability matters.
• Draft and file answers, pleadings, written discovery, dispositive motions, and other litigation documents.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery, document review, depositions, and discovery strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and develop strategic recommendations.
• Take and defend depositions of key fact and expert witnesses.
• Handle all aspects of motions practice, including drafting and arguing dispositive and procedural motions.
• Work closely with portfolio counsel and the Office Managing Partner to develop case strategy and ensure effective case management.
• Assist national counsel in identifying, working with, and preparing defense experts throughout the litigation process.
• Prepare regular case updates and communicate with clients as requested.
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
• Deliver exceptional client service while contributing to the firm's continued client development efforts.
