Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an associate attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join its Rocky Hill, CT office. This role provides an opportunity for a junior lawyer to develop litigation skills in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general litigation and strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities, with admission to the Connecticut Bar. JD from an accredited law school is required. Federal court or appellate exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive reports and legal analysis.
• Participate in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate.
• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with client guidelines.
• Maintain accurate time records and billing entries.
