Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Admission to practice in Connecticut is required; NY/NJ/PA bar admissions are a plus.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motions, and trial prep.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Conducting legal research and preparing reports and analyses.
• Participating in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate.
• Managing deadlines and client guidelines compliance.
• Maintaining accurate time records and billing entries.
