Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1-3 years of commercial litigation experience to join their New Haven, CT office. The ideal candidate will handle state and federal matters and contribute to trial preparation.

Successful applicants will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to work independently. Connecticut or Massachusetts bar admission or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Interest in intellectual property litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical, professional, and client service skills.
• Team-oriented with collaborative skills.
• Admission to practice law in Connecticut or Massachusetts, or ability to become admitted (dual admission is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court conferences and hearings.
• Argue motions and conduct legal research.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Manage day-to-day case activities.
• Participate in trial preparation.
