Qualifications

• Admission to Virginia State Bar.
• Recent law school graduate or attorney with a minimum 1–3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated interest in litigation and a strong desire to develop skills in this practice area.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing effective work with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance.
• Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases.
