Job summary

Long & Levit LLP seeks an Associate to join our Los Angeles office, primarily in-office with hybrid flexibility. You will support senior attorneys on a diverse litigation caseload with a focus on discovery, case evaluation, and litigation support.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership or eligibility.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and draft clear, persuasive legal documents.
• Strong research, analytical and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery-related tasks (subpoenas, motions to compel, document review).
• Review and analyze medical records and case materials.
• Draft evaluation letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Assist with case evaluations, settlement analysis, and litigation strategy.
• Support deposition, mediation, hearing and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, experts and opposing counsel.
