Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing team in either Milwaukee or Madison, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of private practice experience in complex civil and commercial litigation, with strong research and writing skills.

Bar admission in Wisconsin or eligibility to waive is required. The position involves handling complex matters, drafting documents, and supporting all phases of litigation, with a collaborative, client-focused firm culture

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of private practice experience in complex civil and commercial litigation.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Wisconsin Bar or eligibility to waive into the Wisconsin Bar.
• Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex civil and commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide effective legal counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals on sophisticated litigation matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal service.
