BCG Attorney Search is representing a law firm seeking an associate attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience to join their San Francisco, CA office. The role covers general liability, product liability, premises liability and catastrophic injury cases, with emphasis on depositions, discovery, motion practice and pre-trial preparation; the candidate should have strong research and writing skills.

Excellent academics and bar admission required.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Admission to the Colorado Bar.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of litigation.
• Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.
• Effective oral advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 10-20 matters.
• Investigate claims and develop case strategies.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Review and analyze documents for production.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and submit pleadings and motions.
• Attend hearings and argue motions.
• Prepare pre-trial and trial documents.
• Prepare cases for mediation/trial and participate in mediation/trial.
• Report effectively to clients.
