Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a mid-level attorney in Boston, MA, with 4+ years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience. The role involves managing cases from inception through resolution, with strong motion practice and deposition skills. Massachusetts licensure and a JD are required.

The attorney will handle pleadings, discovery, and mediation, while collaborating with a team of attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and provide legal analysis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience.
• Strong motion practice and deposition experience.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Experience with insurance coverage, general liability, or related practice areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in court, hearings, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff.
