BCG Attorney Search in New York City seeks an Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation Defense with 2-4 years of insurance defense experience to contribute to a growing New York practice.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD, be licensed in New York, and excel in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy as they defend diverse matters from inception to trial, including employment, healthcare, environmental, and construction issues.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with employment law and/or healthcare law.
• Experience with environmental and/or construction litigation.
• Ability to draft motions and legal memoranda.
• Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial.

Responsibilities

• Defend a variety of insurance defense matters.
• Handle general liability, personal injury, product liability, and professional liability cases.
• Engage in employment law and/or healthcare law matters.
• Participate in environmental and/or construction litigation.
• Draft motions and legal memoranda, summarize depositions, and prepare for trial.
• Work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial.
