Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil defense experience for a hybrid role in Boston, MA. The attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution, focusing on construction defect, general liability, and product liability litigation, representing clients in complex civil matters throughout Boston, MA, and Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction defect, general liability, product liability, or related civil defense litigation.
• Experience handling all phases of litigation including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial.
• Review and analyze discovery requests and responses.
• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings.
• Take lead roles in plaintiff and expert witness depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial support.
• Collaborate with partners, clients, and team members to develop case strategy.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing and time records.
