Job summary

Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC seeks an associate with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our Galleria office in Houston. The position supports all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trials, with travel within Texas as needed.

The candidate should be well-organized, able to manage a high-volume caseload, and work in a teamwork-driven environment. Prior insurance defense and/or jury trial experience is a plus as the firm serves a diverse client

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical litigation experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas (Juris Doctor required).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel within the state.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions, and trials.
• Assist with case management and prepare for hearings and trials.
• Coordinate with teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.

RMWBH is seeking a motivated Associate with 3+ years of practical litigation experience to join our Galleria office.

The associate in this position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials. Travel within the state is required. Prior insurance defense experience and/or jury trial experience is a plus.

Candidates should be well-organized, and able to assist with management of a high-volume caseload. Our firm relies on the ability of each person to work well in a teamwork-driven environment, managing fluctuating priorities and deadlines with ease.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas;
• Travel required on occasion including flying.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;
• Excellent analytical and writing skills are required.
