Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a litigation attorney to join its Greenville, SC office. The role involves managing matters from investigation to resolution, drafting pleadings and motions, and coordinating with clients and counsel on strategy.

The position requires an active SC Bar license and at least 1 year of litigation experience. Insurance defense exposure is a plus, but strong litigators from other areas are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Bar license.
• 1+ year of litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial investigation through case resolution.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Work closely with clients, attorneys, and industry professionals to develop effective case strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, persuasive written work.
• Manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals throughout the life of each case.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while taking ownership of assigned matters.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
