Job description

Prominent full-service nationwide law firm with over 40 years of experience representing survivors of catastrophic and traumatic events is seeking a full-time attorney with 5+ years experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. This role may involve assisting in the Child Victims Act litigation. The successful candidate should be capable of managing his/her own caseload with supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting complaints,
  • Responding to and propounding discovery,
  • Responding to demurrers,
  • Case settlement negotiation,
  • Conducting depositions, and jury trials.
  • Medical records review

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • 5+ Years of practice experience in Plaintiff personal injury litigation.
  • Must be admitted to the NY bar in good standing
  • Must have superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well as a team with other attorneys, colleagues, support staff, and court personnel
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to efficiently and professionally correspond with courts and opposing counsel
