A well-established California civil litigation firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its expanding team. With a long-standing reputation for excellence in public entity defense, the firm represents clients in a wide array of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts across California.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of litigation experience, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. The role offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload and gain hands-on experience in all stages of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
Conduct thorough legal research and develop effective case strategies
Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding case progress
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
1+ years of litigation experience, preferably with public entity matters
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong legal research and analytical capabilities
Trial experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
A team-oriented approach with strong organizational skills
