Orionplacement is seeking an experienced attorney to manage complex insurance coverage and commercial litigation matters in a hybrid Temecula, CA setting. You will handle cases from inception to resolution, provide strategic guidance to clients, and collaborate with a national team of experienced litigators.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and complex coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle written discovery and motion practice.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on complex matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
• Insurance coverage or policyholder-side litigation experience highly preferred.
• Construction-related insurance or construction defect experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
