Job summary

sdfgh is seeking an experienced associate to handle commercial litigation from inception to resolution. You will draft pleadings, motions, discovery and legal memoranda, and take and defend depositions as needed.

You will work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation management, communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, and manage caseloads while meeting deadlines and billable requirements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable handling depositions and court appearances appropriate to experience.

Experience you'll need:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
• A minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience in state and federal court
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
• Comfortable handling depositions and court appearances commensurate with experience
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of local, state and federal rules of procedure
• Ability to work with a variety of attorneys and staff, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
