Confidential Employer in New York City is seeking an associate attorney to join a highly regarded commercial litigation team. You will represent clients in sophisticated disputes and manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trials.

The role offers mentorship, ongoing professional development, and long-term advancement in a premier legal market. You must have at least 3 years of commercial and business litigation experience and courtroom

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial and business litigation experience.
• Courtroom experience required.
• Experience managing all phases of pre-trial discovery.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in commercial and business litigation matters.
• Handle breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and other complex commercial litigation cases.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, document production, depositions, and motion practice.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Develop litigation strategies while working closely with clients and senior attorneys.
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple active matters.
