Kissinger Legal Search is assisting a well-regarded, full-service Los Angeles law firm in hiring a mid-level Litigation Associate with about 3–5 years of experience. This is a role for someone ready to lead matters, not just support them, working closely with partners on sophisticated disputes while taking real ownership of cases.

About the Job:

The practice represents individuals, partnerships and companies in high-stakes disputes in state and federal court and in arbitration, across commercial, real estate, technology, entertainment, IP and employment matters.

Here’s what the role involves:

• Taking and defending depositions and managing written discovery
• Appearing in state and federal court, including contested hearings
• Drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, and helping shape case strategy
• Supporting mediations, arbitrations and trial preparation
• Working directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Supervising junior associates and paralegals on your matters

The firm is looking for:

• About 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience, ideally at a firm with a sophisticated litigation practice
• Hands-on experience with depositions, substantive motions and court appearances
• Strong writing, research and oral advocacy skills
• The judgment to manage matters and deadlines independently
• A J.D. and admission to the California Bar (active and in good standing)
