Location: New York, NY or Washington, D.C.

A prestigious international law firm is seeking exceptional litigation associates to join its high-performing team in New York or Washington, D.C. The role involves supporting trial teams in high-stakes, complex disputes, working alongside some of the most experienced litigators in the market. The position offers significant responsibility, client exposure, and a clear trajectory for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters from pre-trial through to resolution.
• Draft dispositive and discovery motions, pleadings, and supporting memoranda.
• Participate in document review, deposition preparation, and strategy development.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on trial preparation and case management.
• Engage directly with clients across a variety of industries and dispute types.

Who You Are

• Class years 2021 and above, with litigation experience gained at an Am Law firm.
• Federal clerkship and law journal experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality advocacy.
• Strong writing, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.

Compensation

Salary Range: $310,000 – $435,000 DOE
