Job summary

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP in Tampa, FL is seeking a litigation associate with 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience to join its team on site. The role focuses on conducting and managing discovery, researching and drafting persuasive motions and briefs, and supporting trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will handle discovery, draft legal memoranda, and take depositions, working closely with experienced trial attorneys throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Salary will be determined based on experience and skills.

About The Role

Hahn Loeser & Parks is seeking a litigation associate with 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience, including conducting and managing discovery, and researching and writing persuasive motions and briefs to join its Tampa office. Associates in this group work closely with experienced trial attorneys and are supported throughout the litigation process, from early case strategy and discovery through trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. This is an on-site position based out of our Tampa office.

Qualifications

• Experience handling aspects of discovery and related investigations, including drafting and revising discovery, and responding to and objecting to discovery disputes.
• Experience with drafting legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and taking and defending depositions. Mediation and arbitration experience a plus.
• Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
• Florida Bar admission (in good standing).
• The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Compensation offered.
