The candidate will handle discovery, draft persuasive motions and briefs, and support trial teams through all stages of litigation in a hybrid role based in Sarasota.

Ideal candidates possess strong research, writing, and analytical skills, and Florida Bar admission in good standing.

About The Role

Hahn Loeser & Parks is seeking a litigation associate with 5+ years of commercial litigation experience, including conducting and managing discovery, and researching and writing persuasive motions and briefs to join its Sarasota office. Associates in this group work closely with experienced trial attorneys and are supported throughout the litigation process, from early case strategy and discovery through trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. This is a hybrid position based out of our Sarasota office.

Qualifications

• Experience handling all aspects of discovery and related investigations, including drafting and revising discovery, and responding to and objecting to discovery disputes.
• Experience with drafting legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and taking and defending depositions. Mediation and arbitration experience a plus.
• Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
• Florida Bar admission (in good standing).

The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Compensation offered.
