Duties:
Manage and assist with civil litigation defense matters from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
Take and defend depositions
Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Participate in trial preparation and support lead counsel at trial
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
Requirements:
0–2 years of civil litigation experience (defense experience preferred)
Familiarity with relevant Florida statutes and civil procedure
Ability to handle a fast-paced caseload and meet deadlines
Desire for long-term professional growth within a litigation practice
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
