Job summary

The ideal candidate has five to seven years of experience in general commercial litigation, strong research and writing skills, and extensive experience in NY state and federal courts. A large law firm background is strongly preferred.

Description:

Litigation Associate with five to seven years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
• Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation.
• Experience in New York State and federal courts.
• Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions.
• Experience taking and defending depositions, including expert depositions.
• Experience with real estate and finance matters preferred.
• Trial experience a plus but not required.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
