Job summary

Fitz & Fitz Associates, a Fort Lauderdale litigation firm, is seeking an associate attorney for its insurance defense practice. You will take real responsibility early and work closely with experienced partners toward growth.

You’ll manage a caseload from pleadings through resolution, draft pleadings and motions, take depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and collaborate with carriers and clients to move cases forward.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and an active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Two to six years of civil litigation experience, with insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
• Experience taking depositions and handling hearings.
• Strong research and writing skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
