Job summary

Norris McLaughlin, P.A. invites a bright, energetic litigation associate to join our New Jersey office.

The role targets 5–7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, with opportunities to work independently and as part of a strong team, handling diverse matters and contributing to client service. The successful candidate will have superb academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and bar admission in New York with relevant state court experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, draft pleadings and motions, prepare discovery and manage disputes, take and defend depositions, appear in state and federal court and in arbitrations.

About The Role

The New Jersey office of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has an opening for a bright, energetic, and hard-working litigation associate. The candidates should have 5-7 years' experience in complex commercial litigation. The position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong litigation team.

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of commercial litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, day to day case management and client management.
• Appear before state and federal courts of New York and arbitrations.

Qualifications:

• Must be bar admitted in the state New York
• Must have New York State court experience
