Norris McLaughlin, P.A.’s New Jersey office has an opening for a bright, energetic litigation associate. The candidates should have 5-7 years’ experience in complex commercial litigation and the position provides the opportunity to work both independently and as part of our strong litigation team.

Responsibilities include handling all aspects of commercial litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and day-to-day case management, with a strong benefits

Qualifications

• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent researching skills
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Must be bar admitted in New Jersey
• Must have New Jersey State court experience

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of commercial litigation, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery and handling discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, day to day case management and client management.
• Appear before state and federal courts of New Jersey and arbitrations.
