Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Pressman to support lithography and coating processes in the production center. You will participate in setup, operate the press, and ensure high-quality output for internal and external shipments.

The role requires prior lithography experience, ability to handle ink and plates, and adherence to safety guidelines. You must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays, standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous Lithography experience required.
• Must be able to use scale and margin guides.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass safety training and procedures.
• Shift availability for 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays.
• Standing for 8-12 hours per shift with possible heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform all press make-ready functions per safety and quality guidelines.
• Hang plates, load ink, load stock.
• Adjust ink settings to required levels.
• Verify job tickets and ensure materials are available.
• Run print jobs after quality approval from supervisor.
• Maintain consistent quality during press runs.
• Remove plates, wash up, and maintain press.
• Troubleshoot issues and report malfunctions to lead/manager.
• Report shortages of press room supplies to lead/manager.
• Perform other production tasks related to offset printing.
• Perform additional general tasks as assigned.
