Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a qualified Pressman to support sheet-fed lithography. Under supervision, you will assist in all aspects of the press, including make-ready, ink loading, and color adjustments, to ensure on-time shipments.

This role requires prior lithography experience, the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, and physical stamina for long standing and lifting up to 35 pounds. You will collaborate with shift leaders to maintain quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in offset printing and lithography processes.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets and specifications.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform all press make-ready functions according to safety guidelines.
• Hang plates, load ink, load stock.
• Maintain ink settings at proper levels.
• Verify job ticket specs and ensure materials are available.
• Run print jobs after quality check approval.
• Maintain quality consistency throughout runs.
• Clean up and wash-up after orders; keep press in good order.
• Troubleshoot and report issues to group leader or manager.
• Perform other production tasks related to offset printing.
