Job summary

onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Lithography Engineering Intern (Junior or Senior undergraduate) to support factory operations and learn semiconductor photolithography processes at Hopewell Junction, NY.

You will work with Lithography Process Engineers and Manufacturing teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and streamline workflows while gaining hands-on experience in data analytics and lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines listed.
Junior or Senior undergraduate standing preferred.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support projects to reduce non-value-added activities and increase productivity.
Develop operational dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Monitor production performance and identify trends impacting efficiency.
Collect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data.
Perform statistical analysis using Minitab.
Present project updates and final recommendations to engineering and management teams.
Assist with process qualifications, tool matching activities, and production readiness initiatives.
